Need to check services after rebooting a server? As mentioned in a previous post, there is an easy way to find the status of all ‘Automatic services’ using Powershell. However, if you happen to prefer GUI or just don’t feel like typing commands, there is a nifty way for you.

  • Launch Services.msc your favorite way.
  • Click on the heading ‘Status’ first and then click on ‘Startup Type’.
  • That’s it – services that are set to start automatically and not running are now on top of the list. Pretty cool, huh?

– Thanks, Jinesh.
